PLANNING ALERT - IMPORTANT

PLANNING ALERT – HOLLIES FARM

Redrow originally had outline planning permission for 350 dwellings on Hollies Farm and has received planning consent so far for 279. Now approaching Phase 5 of the development, due to progressive high density building in the previous phases, it finds it has room for a further 276 dwellings, in part by encroaching into an area that was designated park land bordering the River Weaver and Marshall’s Arm.  If approved, it would bring the total number of properties on Hollies Farm to 555! With the 300 dwellings on The Grange Farm development, that’s 855 new properties in total! Together with other smaller developments over the past couple of years, that’s an increase of approaching 50% in the size of Hartford. All without any improvement whatsoever in what was an already struggling traffic, health, educational and environmental infrastructure!

If you object to this over development of Hartford, go on line to the Chester West and Cheshire web site, planning and building controls, see or comment on a planning application, enter key word or reference number, type in ref no 17/01954/FUL, click on public comments.  Alternatively, write to Mr R Charnley, Planning Department, 4 Civic Way, Ellesmere Port, CH65 0BE, quoting the ref no 17/01954?FUL. The more objections received, the more likely that permission will be refused. Closing date is 2 June 2017.
