On Wednesday 19th April, 28 members visited the Jodrell Bank telescope on a beautiful sunny day. The world heritage site set in the Cheshire countryside offers a really interesting experience and gives you an insight into our immense universe. The importance of this establishment cannot be overstated. The entertaining presentation in the Space Dome gives us a better understanding of all the complexities of this subject. Helpful staff and excellent facilities, as well as a beautifully natural Arboretum make for a rewarding day out.
