Apologies for this last minute cancellation but my wife has developed a bad back and I can't leave her alone in the house in case she has a fall.

Sorry for the late notice. Been a busy week.
Our next litter pick is tomorrow, Sunday 8th September, meeting as usual at the bus stop at the end of Walnut Lane, at 10.00am.

Our trip to Astley Hall
On Thursday 2nd May the Civic Society arranged a day trip to Astley Hall near Chorley. Twenty eight people were on the trip. We had an excellent conducted tour of the magnificent house, with sufficient time to enjoy the parkland and gardens. We were blessed with glorious weather.
