On Thursday 2nd May the Civic Society arranged a day trip to Astley Hall near Chorley. Twenty eight people were on the trip. We had an excellent conducted tour of the magnificent house, with sufficient time to enjoy the parkland and gardens. We were blessed with glorious weather.
